We often collect driftwood from our beach and this particular piece inspired a driftwood Waka .  In Te Reo Māori , Waka primarily translates canoe but it can also mean a spirit medium or a channel for an atua spirit. This wooden Waka is adorned with paua shells, sea shells, sea glass and 3 of our Ocean candles which represent the sails. We hope you feel the aroha this Waka was made with.
