We often collect driftwood from our beach, and this particular piece inspired a driftwood Waka.  In Te Reo Māori, Waka primarily translates to canoe, but it can also mean a spirit medium or a channel for an atua spirit. This wooden Waka is adorned with paua shells, seashells, sea glass and 3 of our Ocean candles, which represent the sails. We hope you feel the aroha this Waka was made with.
